In the fall of 2019, I attended an event benefitting Garrett’s Space, a nonprofit organization aimed at reducing suicide rates among young adults. Its mission deeply resonated with me, and I reached out with an offer to help in whatever capacity I could. As luck would have it, Garrett’s Space was in need of a digital marketing coordinator to help with their social media efforts and site design + updates.

Since that serendipitous meeting, I have assisted Garrett’s Space on a volunteer basis doing all things digital, from social content creation + execution to site maintenance and SEO consulting. There’s nothing more rewarding than using my experience as a writer, marketer and hobby designer to support a mission I wholeheartedly believe in.
